BAY AREA RUN CLUB
BARC. was created to provide an environment in the running community that focuses on empowering people through their running journey. It doesn't matter if you are training for a sub 3 hour marathon or just getting out the house to run your first mile in years. The club is designed to bring people from all background together and connect them. Life isn't easy to run through alone so, why not come out to a place where people are waiting to see you be your best self. I know we all have our schedules and responsibilities that we have to prioritize. We are making sure we can create an experience that evokes positive forward thinking. Halloween 5K and Social. From Live Music with DJ sets, a FUN RUN, food vendors, raffles, prizes and games. This will be one for the books! Couldn't be happier to create more memories and amazing experiences for the BARC. community.
BARC. now accepts donations and contributions. This is to ensure we can cover fines, permits, events and any special goodies we are providing for you. We are not profiting off the club to become millionaires. BARC. is run by people that have regular jobs and we are not in the position to pay out of pocket for everything because it is EXPENSIVE. Participating in our special events and buying merch in person allows us to only continue to run together, but also not have to worry about future issues/problems we may run into.

BARC. was started to bridge the gap in community that everyone complained about. To have a safe space that is judgement free and have the capabilities to sweat with other like-minded people is almost impossible to find. This run club guarantees this missing piece of community that other "inclusive" clubs preach about. Instead you end up going to theirs and feel detached or out of place. I've even attended one and it was not a fun experience. We have a massively diverse crowd and the age range is wide. Bay Area Run Club isn't just about running. We want you to socialize and meet new people in a place that has nothing but positive vibes. Welcoming everyone from anywhere and everywhere. All paces welcome from walking to running and no experience is needed! Go tie your laces up and we'll see you out there!
